This product is made in Sri Lanka by Lanka Kade, a company whose aim is to provide continual employment throughout the year for each group of artisans and their families. They employ a full-time representative to uphold their values: a safe and pleasant working environment, equal opportunities, good rates of pay, prompt payment for goods and a quality product at a fair price. In addition, this product is made of rubber wood sourced from exhausted rubber plantations that are replanted every 1015 years, so it’s eco-friendly too!
